Co-Founder & Investment Advisor
I am the co-founder and investment advisor for North River Wealth Advisors. Over the last two decades, I've developed financial plans and investment strategies for retirement plans, governments, non-profit organizations, families and individuals.
Prior to launching North River, I spent the majority of my career as an investment strategist for BNY Mellon Wealth Management. I led the firm's long-term market outlook and was instrumental in developing financial planning tools for institutions and individuals. I also provided holistic planning and investment advice to countless clients over my career. Prior to BNY Mellon, I started my career as a pension actuary for Towers Perrin (now WTW). My experience as an actuary provided a foundation around risk management and understanding longevity, two critical components of retirement planning and investing.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics degree from Robert Morris University. I also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute and the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation. I am a member of The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and the XY Planning Network.
My wife, Jessica, and I live in the north hills of Pittsburgh with our three children (Julia, Jacob and Bennett) who all attend Eden Christian Academy. When I rarely find time outside of family activities and serving clients, I enjoy running, skiing, traveling and working on my crude carpentry and remodeling skills.
